Lifesongs Concerts are the culmination of months of creative collaboration between elders, artists, community members, youth and people in hospice.
This year, our spring concert will feature elders and sta from the Santa Fe Care Center, students from the Santa Fe Waldorf School, community members of our Lifesongs Creative Ensemble, the 7th Wave Choir, singers from The Santa Fe Opera’s Young Voices program, the University of New Mexico’s Dolce Suono Choir, Lifesongs facilitating artists, and the Lifesongs House Band, featuring some of Santa Fe’s nest professional musicians.

Join us in the Railyard for a public festival of learning. Youth protégés from across Santa Fe will share what they have learned through their mentorships in fields like belly dancing, the science of complexity, wild horse management and baseball. The program will begin with exhibitions and displays, and then move into presentations and performances. Bring the family and see where learning happens!

Come celebrate the 2nd annual El Otro Lado in the Schools culminating event. The poignant artwork and performances of 200 plus students, their teachers, teaching artists and many others that have been involved with this program in the 2015/16 school year will be exhibited at SITE Santa Fe as part of the Academy for the Love of Learning’s Festival of Learning. We’ve been blown away by the “other sides” our students have revealed of themselves at past culminating events and are looking forward to witnessing their stories this year with a district-wide audience. Come and join us for an inspirational event for all!
Each year, children, elders, educators, artists and members of the Santa Fe community come together for this one-of-a-kind event: The Academy for the Love of Learning’s Festival of Learning. The Second Annual Festival of Learning will illuminate the culmination of a year of creativity and hard work throughout the city with two main public events on April 22nd and May 7th highlighting where learning is happening in Santa Fe.
